2016 Bond School
Academic Decathlon is a very esteemed and revered program at Sidney
Lanier High School. Decathlon is an extra-curricular activity where
other than promoting specialization, it stresses versatility. This
encourages studying and dedication. This type of work is not for many,
but the ones who participate, truly show that they are responsible and
take time and effort to put forth their best qualities. In fact, the
most important issue with the Decathlon team is that they have fun.
Some members even say that it becomes more of a group of friends than a
Decathlon welcomes ALL students who desire to prepare themselves at an academic
level. Come and join the second largest academic program in the nation
and take advantage of $150,000 in scholarships that are awarded each
year to Academic competitors in Texas.
