Our mission is to provide a first-class program that enables students to earn an associate degree and/or workforce certification at no cost while completing the requirements for their high school diploma. St. Philip’s ECHS prides itself on its rigorous course load. A successful future is within reach of all our students and this belief is a part of our culture. Saving money on higher education is just one of the benefits. Others include college-level faculty, student support consisting of personnel at both the college and high school level including a college-bound advisor, college advisor and high school counselor. Students also are able to utilize the college facilities and all they have to offer, including the new Turbon Student Center. Amenities include a book store, post office, student government offices, billiard tables, gaming consoles, coffee shop and six-lane bowling alley.

What is an early college high school?
Early College High Schools (ECHS) are innovative high schools that allow students least likely to attend college an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to 60 college credit hours.
