2016 Bond School
Welcome to our 2017-2018 school year! I am honored to be the Principal at Irving Middle School. I am deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the students by partnering with the staff and community to ensure our students have a great educational experience. We will accomplish this by addressing school culture and climate, setting high academic expectations and providing systems of support for all students.
At Irving Middle School, we believe that students need to be connected to the school through positive relationships in academic programs and participation in extracurricular activities. Therefore, I am pleased to share some of the programs that Irving Middle School will offer to keep students involved. Students have opportunities to take advanced placement courses, STEM Program, Partners Program. In the Fine Arts department, students may join the Mariachi classes, band, choir and Theatre Arts. In addition, for the first time students are able to join the Cheer Group.
As a team, the teachers, staff and I embrace the challenges of the future while we continue to celebrate the traditions of the past. With the hard working staff, the involved parents and committed students, the school year will be a great educational experience.
Please visit our website to find more information about school events. Again, I am looking forward to an academically successful year. When questions arise, please take time to communicate with the teaching staff or administrative staff at (210) 738-9740.
