Dear Inez Foster Elementary Parents and Community,
As the principal of Inez Foster Elementary, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year. We are excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed and part of our Foster Elementary family. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to engage them in learning. With the new school year, we are excited to announce that our 7th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. This year, our 7th grade students will be able to participate in volleyball, basketball, soccer, cross country, seven on seven football. In addition, we have eight master teachers teaching at our campus.
The first day of school is Monday, August 14th. By starting in mid-August, which is earlier than other area school districts, our students will be able to complete their end-of-semester exams prior to winter break, so there’s not the two week delay before test taking and there also will be additional preparation time in June for third assessments. Nothing is more important to us than your child’s success. We look forward to seeing you on August 14th. The doors will open at 7:15 AM every day. The starting time is 8:05 AM and dismissal time is 3:25 PM.
We hope that you will find our website helpful and informative. All of the information we send out can also be found on our website at www.saisd.net.
I am honored to serve as the principal of Inez Foster Elementary. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic success.
Once again, welcome back! Let’s make it another great year at Foster together!
