Since 2021, Virginia Parker has been the principal of Highland Park Elementary, and she comes with numerous accolades in the field of education. Parker has previously served as a first grade teacher and worked with students ranging in age from kindergarten to 5th grade as a Gifted & Talented Specialist. She has also taught college students as an Adjunct Professor. She holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Columbus College of Art and Design, as well as a master's degree in educational leadership from Concordia University. Parker strongly believes in the equity of educational opportunities for all students. She enjoys learning from her students every day and is passionate about the work she gets to do at school.
