Lamar Elementary has a multi-year partnership with the San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA) that spans PK-6 grade. Each year, students engage in an experience both at the museum and at Lamar that ties art to the academic experience. Additionally, Lamar is in the unique position of serving as a school where SAMA pilots new programming before other schools are exposed to the curriculum. Lamar kids love SAMA and the learning that place there and on our campus.
