Riverside Park Parents & Guardians,
Welcome to the 21-22 school year! I am extremely excited to join the Riverside Park team for an
amazing year of learning! I have sent out recent communication via School Messenger, Facebook,
Instagram, & our Twitter page, but want to formally introduce myself. My name is Raymond
Macias and I am the PROUD new Principal at Riverside Park Elementary. I am entering my 15th
year in education and I’m just as energized as I was for year one! Over the last few weeks, I’ve had
some amazing conversations and meetings with the Riverside Faculty and Staff and the
overwhelming consensus is that at Riverside, we’re Family! I’m excited to join the Riverside
Familia and meet yours as well!
At Riverside Park, we are committed to providing our students with rich learning experiences that
are thoughtfully planned include aligned assessments and focus on student growth and mastery.
Our team is primed for high-quality instruction this fall and is ready to support our learners
through targeted enrichment and intervention.
We recognize that last year threw learning curves that have impacted our students academically
and emotionally. Our teachers, counselors, and community have all been planning strategies to
meet the needs of our students as we return to 100% in-person learning. Since “The best defense
is a good offense,” we ask that you communicate any needs you noticed throughout last year with
your child’s new teacher. This will assist our teaching team in pairing the right approach for your
child in all avenues that impact student learning. We thank you for your partnership and your
investment in your child’s learning and cannot wait to achieve next level status with you as a
multiplayer in education.
Thank you for providing your child with the opportunity to exceed their goals at Riverside Park!
