Steele Parent and Family Engagement
At Steele Montessori we acknowledge and understand the importance of parent and family engagement. Together, along with the community, we have created lasting traditions that we hope will be celebrated for years to come! We provide several opportunities for our parents and families to engage with their children. At this time, we have First Thursday at Steele Montessori and Facebook Live sessions with Ms. Laura, our Principal. We also have a Family Engagement Center where volunteers are able to assist with campus projects (at home volunteering is available upon request).
Parents, families, and friends of Steele Montessori Academy, you are encouraged to volunteer on our campus, at-home,PTA, with events and field trips. Our Family Engagement Center is open for volunteering Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. To participate for any of our volunteer opportunities, you must be registered with SAISD Volunteer/Background application, App -Garden, the link can be found below. You as well find the Volunteer Orientation presentation.
If you have any questions, contact our Family and Community Engagement Specialist, Gabriela Lemus.
