Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund Meeting

Thank you for joining us on Tuesday June 1st at 1:00pm and 6:00pm to learn more about what SAISD is doing to ensure a successful return to in-person learning. During our campus scheduled meeting, we discussed our recovery plan and got your input on how we as a district should allocate our COVID relief funds, known as ESSER.

Let's get connected and start learning from home.

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!


1. Set up your student's device at home. If you need a device or hotspot, give us a call at 210-738-9835

2. Have your student log in to ClassLink with their SAISD username and password by visiting or clicking on the image below. This is also known as the SAISD Single Sign-On (SSO). This is where we have Canvas and all our digital learning resources. If your student has been enrolled in SAISD before, this is the same information they have used to log in. If you don't know your student's username and password, call us at 210-738-9835.

 (Note: From ClassLink, you can access class schedules by clicking the backpack icon.

3. From the ClassLink homepage, click on the Canvas icon to view and manage class information. For trainings and resources on Canvas, visit If the Canvas icon does not appear when your student logs in to ClassLink, call the Technology Help Desk at (210) 244-2929 for support.

Meal Distribution During Virtual Instruction

  • Parents may pick up meals without a child present, but must bring one of the following items: Student ID number, Student ID card, or an official letter/email from the school listing the child enrolled at an SAISD campus. Visit for more information.

On behalf of the staff at Tynan ECEC, we are excited to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year!  We are committed to providing exciting and hands-on learning experiences to our students.  Our full-day program will focus on developing children academically, physically and socially. At Tynan ECEC, we are partnered with the HighScope Research Foundation and, along with Carroll ECEC, we are HighScope's San Antonio Hub of Excellence. We are on a mission to close the opportunity-gap through high-quality early childhood education. The first day of school is August 17th and we will be 100% remote for the first three weeks of school.

Once we go face to face. School starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 2:30 PM (tardy bell rings at 7:40 AM). At dismissal, you may pick up your child beginning at 2:30 PM. Note that parking is limited in front of our school, you may also park on the side streets of our campus. Please provide photo identification when picking up your child and ensure that he/she is signed out with the teacher or teacher assistant.

In order to guide and support your child’s learning, please ensure that he/she attends school remotely daily and is ready for the day’s learning experience.  Our campus attendance goal is 96% or above.

The wonderful Tynan staff and I feel privileged to be a part of this school family.  We thank you for your support and for allowing us to provide your child with a firm foundation for lifelong learning.
