It is my honor to welcome you to the Nelson ECEC school community! We are so pleased that you have chosen Nelson ECEC for your child. The Nelson faculty and staff take pride in our role of providing a safe and nurturing learning environment. I have been the proud principal of Nelson ECEC since opening the 2017-2018 school year. I have been in education for 13 years and this is my 7th year as a campus principal. I am here to serve our community so please never hesitate to contact me.
Our school day begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 2:30 PM (the tardy bell rings at 7:40 AM). We offer early supervision beginning at 7:00 AM in the classroom. If you bring your child in after 7:30 AM, please go to the main office and a Nelson staff member will escort your child to the classroom.
At dismissal, you may pick up your child up in the building from their classroom (please note that parking is limited). Please be aware we do ask that you provide photo identification when picking up your child.
On behalf of the Nelson ECEC family we welcome you. Your support is appreciated and our goal is to provide your child with the skills to be Kindergarten ready, and to instill a strong love and desire for learning.
Working together, we can ensure each Nelson Lion is prepared to succeed not only in academics but in life as well. Here’s to an outstanding 2019-2020 school year!
