It is my honor to welcome you to the Nelson ECEC community, this 2017-2018 school year! Your child will be a part of history as the first group of students to enter Nelson ECEC. We are so pleased that you have chosen Nelson for your child. The faculty and staff take our role of providing a safe and nurturing environment to your child seriously, it is our number one priority.
Our school day begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 2:30 PM (the tardy bell rings at 7:40 AM). We offer early supervision beginning at 7:00 AM in the classroom. If you bring your child after 7:30 AM, please go to the main office and a Nelson staff member will escort your child to the classroom.
At dismissal, you may pick up your child up in the building from their classroom (please note that parking is limited). Please be aware we do ask that you provide photo identification when picking up your child.
On behalf of the Nelson ECEC family we welcome you. Your support is appreciated and our goal is to provide your child with the skills to be Kindergarten ready, and to instill a strong love and desire for learning.
Working together, we can ensure each Nelson Lion is prepared to succeed not only in academics but in life as well. Here’s to an outstanding 2017-2018 school year!
