Hi everyone! My name is Gabriel Ramos. I am the Assistant Band Director at Rhodes MS. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a minor in All-Level Certification from the University of the Incarnate Word. This is my 3rd year teaching in SAISD.

A little about me, I have an older brother and three younger sisters. I have three nieces that keep me busy! I recently just bought my house and I am loving being new home owner! I like to watch movies and older TV shows. Pizza is my favorite food. I love sweet tea and Starbucks coffee.
I believe that teaching comes from the heart no matter what subject area we chose to teach, it comes from within. I want my students to discover their passions through my teaching. I also believe that the role of a teacher is to support the students in their learning process by picking interesting and engaging music so that they can develop their ideas into sounds and phrases.
