The end of year expectation for all Kindergarteners is to know all 75 sight words (AKA "bubble gum words") by the end of the year. This is not an easy task, but with lots of practice at home and at school they can do it! 

Below you can find the list of our words (List 1 & 2) and some slides you can use to practice with. 

Other suggestions: 

• Make flashcards and read them many times together first to avoid frustration
• Start small, focus on only 5 words at a time for memorization 
• Tape them up around the house to make frequent practice more fun
• Look up Kindergarten sight word youtube videos so they can watch while they learn 
• Write the words in sand or salt with their finger
• Search google for thousands of other fun and creative practice ideas!
