Hello! I am blessed to the Academic Dean of the Mathematics Department at the great Luther Burbank High School. We have a fantastic Math team and I am excited to lead them!
This is my 12th year in education and my 6th year at Burbank High School. In addition to my Academic Dean role, I teach 2 periods of Algebraic Reasoning.
I grew up in New Orleans and moved to Texas in 2005, and I have a Bachelors' Degree from the University of New Orleans. My wife and I have been married for 14 years and we have a beautiful 4 year old daughter.
In my (rare) free time, I am a musician. My hobbies include performing at and attending live music events, bicycling, and playing various card and board games. I can always talk sports, and am a fan of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans and LSU Tigers.
I truly believe that all students can be successful. My goal is to inspire all students to understand the value of education and to enjoy the learning process rather than fearing mathematics. Additionally, I am a member of the Burbank High School Campus Leadership Team and a Mentor Teacher on Campus.
