Welcome to the Technology Classroom!
My name is Mr. Dartez and my goal is to make learning about technology interesting and fun for all students, no matter their age. In my classroom, students experience a collaborative learning environment and technology immersion as they learn how to problem-solve and develop skills in a variety of ways.
Additionally, as an elective teacher, it is my goal that every student think about their college and career readiness and how they will pursue their dreams and aspirations.
Finally, my goal for parents is that you always have the opportunity to know how your student is performing and be aware of their accomplishments. I do my best to keep in contact with parents throughout the year to ensure that students have the greatest level of support possible.
Below is a summary if what students can expect in different courses in my classroom:
As a student in Tech Applications you may experience a variety of coursework including, but not limited to keyboarding technique, coding, hands-on computer repair, technology integration with core curriculum, and much more!
If you are taking Digital Communications in the 21st Century, you can expect to be a part of a team to develop real-world solutions using technology. We will also focus on presenting in front of an audience, both live and through technology mediums.
Finally, in my High School Principles of Arts, A/V Tech & Communication class you will learn real-world skills such as Commercial Photography, Film-making, Animation, Game Design and more!
