Hola a todos! Yo soy Beatriz y soy maestra de 2º grado dual en Smith elementary. Este es mi segundo año de maestra en Smith y mi segundo año en Estados Unidos.  

Yo nací en España (en una ciudad preciosa llamada Madrid) y he vivido allí toda mi vida. En España soy maestra, desde hace 8 años, de matemáticas y economía en los grados 10, 11 y 12, por lo que mis alumnos suelen tener entre 16 y 18 años. Estudié economía en la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid y en Wien University de Viena. Y también tengo un máster en educación.

Me encanta viajar y conocer muchos lugares y personas nuevas, por lo que he vivido y conocido sitios tan increíbles como Austria, Tailandia, Nueva York, Turquía y muchos más.

Estoy muy feliz de formar parte de esta gran familia que es la escuela Smith. Nos vemos muy pronto!

Hi everyone! I am Beatriz and I am the 2nd grade dual language teacher. This is my second year teaching in Smith and my second year living in United States also. 

I was born in Spain (in a beautiful city called Madrid) and I have lived there all my life. In Spain I have been a teacher for 8 years. I taught math and economics in grades 10, 11 and 12, so my students are usually between 16 and 18 years old. I studied economics at the Carlos III University of Madrid and Wien University of Viena. I also have a Master´s Degree in Education.

I love travelling and visiting many new places and meeting new people. Because of that I have lived and visited in such incredible places as Austria, Thailand, New York, Turkey and many more.
