Christina Hernandez is an 8th-grade Reading teacher committed to collaborative learning that engages students, staff, families, and the community. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio (2013) and she is certified in Secondary Language Arts and Social Studies Education in the state of Texas (2019.) After a few years of progressive work in retail management, Christina decided to leave the business realm and pursue her passion for education and adolescent mentor-ship. Christina works with an organization in partnership with San Antonio ISD called Teach for America. Teach for America's mission is to work towards creating greater educational opportunities for all students. Christina believes that all children deserve a chance to achieve academic success, explore their talents, and pursue their passions.
