My name is Carlos Alberto Mendez. I am originally from San Antonio, TX but spent much of young adult life living in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, MX.
I have an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from San Antonio College and a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Criticism from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
My interest are Linguistics, Mayan Anthropology/ Hieroglyphs, and Art History.
My goal in my classes is to have students grow in confidence when speaking Spanish and expose them to the various cultures and customs around the world.
I am also the sponsor for Burbank's Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica chapter La Puerta de Alcalá.
