Hello! My name is Mr. Sandoval, and I'm thrilled to say this is my seventeenth-year teaching at Burbank High School. I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to San Antonio, Texas when I was 10 years old. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Texas Lutheran University. This year, I will be teaching Business Information Management I. I also serve as the Career & Technology Department Chair and the Burbank Girls Soccer head coach.
I look forward to welcoming my students back on campus and into the classroom for a wonderful learning experience. Together with a team of amazing and creative teachers, I am committed to providing an inclusive classroom with a rigorous, open-minded, and fun learning environment where students develop life skills that will prepare them for life beyond high school.
Education runs deep in my family. I have a 6-year-old son who will be starting first grade. He loves learning new things every day. His favorite combination of learning is reading, math, playing soccer, drawing, and building with Legos. I enjoy running, watching movies/shows, creating digital/multimedia projects, playing/watching soccer, arcades, and spending time with my son.
I look forward to meeting all of my new students, parents/families, and community members.
