Hello! My name is Mr. Sandoval, and I'm thrilled to say this is my fourteenth-year teaching at Burbank High School. I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to San Antonio, Texas when I was 10 years old. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Texas Lutheran University. This year, I will be teaching Entrepreneurship and Business Information Management I. I also serve as the Career & Technology Department Chair and the Burbank Girls Soccer head coach.
I look forward to welcoming my students back on campus and into the classroom for a wonderful learning experience. Together with a team of amazing and creative teachers, I am committed to providing an inclusive classroom with a rigorous, open-minded, and fun learning environment where students develop life skills that will prepare them for life beyond high school.
Education runs deep in my family. My wife Kelly is also an educator and our son, Andrés, loves learning new things every day. His favorite combination of learning is playing soccer, reading Star Wars books, building with Legos, and dancing. I enjoy running, cooking, watching movies, creating multimedia projects, playing/watching soccer and spending time with my family.
I look forward to meeting all of my new students, parents/families, and community members.
