I am a veteran educator and have been in education for 35 years!  

I thoroughly LOVE teaching your students!  My philosophy about learning is that all of us learn EVERY day!  Learning to embrace how to learn and grow each day is the most important thing for education and living.

This week we are on vacation, but if you want to do something fun, make a list of the things in your refrigerator.  Then, find out how many syllables each word has.  Then have someone give you a short spelling test to see how many words you know!!

What are you reading?  Mrs. Gil is reading some really fun books that I am beginning to write.  

Parents, please provide something for your child to read or take them to the library. The closest library to our neighborhood is:

1. Who are the characters?

2. What is happening to them?

3. What are they feeling or thinking? 

4. What do you think will happen in the next page or chapter?
