Hello Parents/Guardians,
My name is Dalysia Rojas. I am a graduate from Texas A&M San Antonio University. At Texas A&M San Antonio, I received a Bachelor's degree in Education Early Childhood through 6th Grade. This is my sixth year serving as a teacher at Smith Elementary School.
I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist at Our Lady of the Lake University.
I am the Monolingual Teacher for the 2nd-grade students at Smith Elementary School. This year will be full of learning adventures for us all but most importantly for the students. I will be teaching my 2nd-grade students how to be 21st Century Learners which will align with Smith's vision.
Due to the loss of learning our students have faced due to COVID, daily attendance is crucially important in closing the achievement gaps.
I am extremely excited to be your child's teacher this school year. I hope to inspire and educate your child to become a life-long learner. This is going to be such a fun and exhilarating year.
