Instructor Bio:

Gabe Casarez, Capt. U.S. Army Retired, Military Police Corps

I am the Bulldog Battalion Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Senior Army Instructor (SAI) and program director. I retired from the U.S. Army in August of 2021 after over 20 years of honorable military service.

A Texas native, I grew up in Odessa, Texas and later moved with my family to El Paso, Texas where I eventually graduated from Cathedral High School. Soon after, I enlisted into the Army Medical Corps and later earned a commission as an Army Officer into the Military Police Corps. As a result of my service, I was stationed and traveled all over the world while serving in multiple duty, and leadership positions from team leader to section chief as a young enlisted Sergeant and Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, and Commander as an Army Officer. My Last assignment was right here in San Antonio Texas where I served as a Senior ROTC Assistant Professor of Military Science for Saint Mary's University, University of the Incarnate Word, Our Lady of the Lake University, Trinity University, Saint Philips and San Antonio Community Colleges.
