Hello!  This is my first year at Sam Houston and I will be teaching IPC and chemistry; I'm looking forward to an amazing school year!  In the past, I have taught IPC, chemistry, and biology.  I have worked with schools and educational programs for over 5 years, serving the roles of mentor, tutor, and teacher.

I grew up in a small town in rural southeast Texas, but have lived in San Antonio for almost 12 years now. I am a first generation college student and obtained a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Biology from UTSA.  I became a teacher because I believe all students have a right to a quality education that will help prepare them for the life beyond high school, despite their backgrounds or socioeconomic status.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family.  I like trying out new restaurants and exploring the many events that San Antonio has to offer.  I have a passion for traveling and will go almost anywhere at least once! I also like getting a bargain and I always know where the best deals are.
