Welcome to my web page. My name is John Richbourg and I’m very happy to be teaching sixth grade Science at the YWLA. This return to the Science classroom is a real learning experience and I am looking forward to helping our students with this core course. I am also still teaching the seventh and eighth grade Technology Applications and the High School Digital Media. The 2018-2019 school year is my tenth year at YWLA and my 34th year as a classroom teacher.
This year I am teaching five sections of sixth grade Science. I also instruct Digital Media, a high school elective employing the Adobe Creative Suite, and a mixed seventh/eighth grade group for Technology Applications. As an added duty, I maintain the school web page.
My tutoring classes are usually on Tuesday and Thursday from dismissal (3:45) until 5:00 pm in room 133. I am available to assist with science or one of the technology classes taught in room 133.
