Bio
Hi my name is Coach Almaraz, you can call me Coach A. I have been in education for 14 years and I will be your monitoring GEC teacher. I also coach Football and Basketball here at Burbank High School. First off I believe every child has infinite worth. I believe you have infinite worth. My students in the past and present have been amazing and have taught me so much. I'm here to help you showcase your strengths. I'm here to showcase who you are . I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young students.
When I was young I was very blessed to have wonderful teachers that sewed into my life and made sure I was successful and I wanted to give back and make a difference in others lives.
What drives me is my students, their personalities, their coming out of their shells, their confidence, they're doing things by themselves and me being that person who helps you see their potential.
I am here to cater to your needs. I am here to help you realize your potential. I am here to help you to believe in yourself and that you can do it and that nothing is going to stop you and won't ever stop you from achieving anything you want to do. Any goals that you want to achieve you can do it. One of the beauties of my job is that I get to have some of the same students year after year so I really get to know you and your families. I'm invested not just in your education but you as a whole student. I want you to think that having me as support is like having brown hair like it's just another part of you. I'm here to help give you another opportunity to have a beautiful future. Every child deserves a great education and that's why I am here to support you, mentor you, I'm here to help see the best in you.
