My name is Megan Whalon. This is my 9th year teaching Spanish and French. I am from upstate New York, where I taught in a Rochester suburb before moving to Texas. I spent the last seven years teaching at Lanier High School in Austin. My undergraduate degree is in French and Spanish from the State University of New York College at Brockport. My master’s degree is in Secondary Education with a concentration in Educational Technology from Texas State.
I chose to come to CAST Tech because I want to be at a place where I can innovative and be challenged. I love that CAST Tech is career-oriented and works to ensure that all CAST Tech students are job-ready once they graduate. I am very excited to be a part of the inaugural group of teachers to open this amazing new school.
