Perry Todd Jackson
I want to take this opportunity to say “Hello!” and introduce myself. My name is Perry Jackson, and I will be your child's teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. This will be my fourth year as a teacher at Elma Neal Elementary School. I previously taught at Somerville Elementary in Somerville, TX. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education from The Texas A&M University and am currently pursuing my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, also at A&M. I grew up in Austin, TX and moved to San Antonio from College Station about three years ago.
This year, students are faced with more responsibilities in the classroom and their studies. They will have to commit to putting forth the effort and enthusiasm to be successful. My greatest desire is to help your son or daughter get the proper training to succeed in both the classroom and life.
I firmly believe communication between parent and teacher is integral to student success this school year. During the year I will contact you through your student’s behavior folder, notes, phone calls, emails, and conferences. I have also set up a Remind class where you can get updates about the events happening here at Neal and in our classroom.
I invite you to contact me should you ever have any questions or concerns regarding your student. You can call the school at (210) 738- 9810, send me a message via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact me through Remind (class code @k4h4d6). I am extremely excited to work with your son or daughter this school year. Go Armadillos!
