About Me:
I grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I've been teaching for 25 years and have taught art in middle school, high school and adjunct at the Southwest School of Art for their summer teen program. I've had solo art exhibits and illustrated two children's books. I've been a musician my whole life, recorded albums and been on tour with rock bands. While I love all art forms, I gravitate towards comic, graphic, animation, the macabre, surrealism, social justice and street art.
I believe anything can be taught through the arts and art is what makes us human.
