Hi, I am Mrs. Pressnell. I am a business teacher at BHS. This year I will be teaching Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance (PBMF), Business Information Management 1&2 (BIM1/BIM2), and the Business Management Practicum (BMP).
I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a focus in management. Even during college, I worked full-time in various business settings.
After ten years in business, I started a second career in teaching when I joined BHS. I also work with Alamo Community Colleges as an adjunct professor and hold multiple Microsoft Office Specialist certificates as well as a Microsoft Office Expert certificate.
I am proud to offer my students opportunities to earn real-world skills in class, build their resumes with globally-recognized Microsoft Office Specialist certificates, dual credit options for those interested in earning college credit while in high school, work experience through participation in a practicum and leadership skills through an extracurricular club called the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
I look forward to working with you this year and hope you will find a future in the world of business or at least start building your network with peers, faculty and staff that want to see you reach the goals you set for yourself.
