I am thrilled to begin my ninth year teaching English at Sam Houston High School. All students have the ability to achieve greatness and it is my role as an educator to remove obstacles that get in their way so I can help them realize their own talent. I am passionate about helping young people become literate and well-spoken communicators who can make a positive impact on the world.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in English from North Carolina State University and worked for twelve years in management, recruiting, and human resources before changing careers and becoming an educator.
I enjoy spending time with my two sons and husband, cycling, and reading.
