***Important Updates Regarding Algebra 1 Remote Learning***
Dear Algebra 1 students and parents:
There are several changes in our Algebra 1 routine due to our remote learning mode:
- There is a mandatory Zoom meeting every Tuesday (A-day) and Wednesday (B-day) during the indicated times in the schedule below (please see the schedule below).
- You need to log-in to google classroom every day to check what assignment is posted and when it is due.
- For the remaining 9-weeks, you will have two categories of assignments - "Paper Assignments" and DeltaMath assignments.
- The "Paper Assignments" replace the paper handouts you used to work on in class and drop in the bins when completed. Now you need to go to google classroom and under Blank Handouts you need to print the handout (or use a blank sheet of paper if you do not have a printer at home) that is assigned and follow my Class Notes and/or Video Notes for that handout on google classroom to write your solutions and notes there. Finally, use one of the 3 methods for submitting your "Paper Assignment" online after watching the 3 embedded videos for each paper assignment.
- "Homework" stays the same online DeltaMath homework that you used to do. There is no change there, except that now I am asking you to go to google classroom to access the DeltaMath webpage from the posted assignment for check-in purposes. Also, when you complete a homework assignment on DeltaMath, please go back to google classroom and click on Turn-In button for that assignment (for counting purpose).
- If I give you a Quiz, it will be on DeltaMath and it will be given only during our mandatory Zoom period on Tuesday or Wednesday as indicated in the class schedule below.
- If you need any help, there is online/virtual tutoring every day from 3 pm to 4 pm via Zoom. The Zoom address is provided on google classroom. You can request additional tutoring on Monday, Thursday and Friday during the regular school hours from 8 am to 4 pm.
- Refer to Daily Schedule topic on google classroom to see what assignments are assigned and when their due dates are throughout the week. Also, please check the gradebook to see if you have any missing assignments.
- Zoom links are posted on every assignment and on the Daily Schedule on google classroom.
