Hello! My name is Yleana Torres and I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher! This is my 13th year of teaching at Maverick. I am a proud product of SAISD schools - having attended Huppertz Elementary, Longfellow Middle School and Thomas Jefferson High School. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and my teaching certification from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I will work diligently with your child so that their Kindergarten year in school is a positive and fun learning experience!
