Community invited to event with photos, hay rides, animals
WHAT: Students in the Agricultural Science Department at Burbank High School are hosting a fall pumpkin patch event. There will be hay rides, games, a corn pit, a costume contest and a chance for the community to pick their pumpkins from the fields at the Burbank farm. Many of the animals that live at the farm will also be available for viewing.

WHERE: The farm at Burbank High School. Park at the SAISD Sports Complex, 1000 Edwards St., 78204. The Farm is located within the SAISD sports complex, entrance off Boehmer Avenue and Lichen.
COST: Admission is $2. Snacks and drinks available for purchase. Pumpkin prices vary by size.
MORE: Opening in 1937, Burbank High School has the longest-running high school agricultural program in San Antonio. The 5-acre farm is home to pigs, goats, rabbits, sheep, and multiple variety of fowl — ducks, silkies, Cornix quail, Bobwhite quail, guineas and various chicken breeds.
