We are committed to ensuring that every student feels welcomed, respected, and valued in every classroom and school across the district. This focus supports a respectful environment where all students can engage fully in their learning and growth.
While we recognize that there are broader conversations occurring in the public sphere, our focus in the classroom remains on instruction aligned to the approved curriculum. The Texas Education Agency has issued guidance regarding student walkouts, absences, and actions related to political activism. All staff are expected to review this guidance to better understand district expectations and potential state consequences for students, staff, and school districts.
The district remains in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, and our instructional practices reflect those requirements.
