Dear SAISD Families and Staff:
Due to the district closure for inclement weather on Monday, January 26, we will need to use one of our designated bad weather days, as outlined on the approved 2025-2026 instructional calendar, to meet the state-required number of instructional minutes.
To accommodate this, Monday, March 16 – the Monday following Spring Break – will now be a regular school day. Please mark your calendars: School will be in session on March 16.
This allows us to ensure students’ academic needs are met and that we remain in compliance with state requirements. Additional details regarding how staff will be affected by the January 26 closure will be shared soon.
As always, in making decisions about inclement weather, the health and safety of our students and staff are our priority. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
