SAISD offices and campuses will be closed Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13 for Spring Break.
All offices and campuses resume normal business hours on Monday, March 16.
March 19 (Thurs) – Tafolla Middle School Ribbon Cutting

The public is invited to a special ribbon cutting event at Tafolla Middle School celebrating the completion of new campus upgrades made possible by the Bond 2020 program. From a new gymnasium to renovations on the secondary gym and auditorium, these enhancements are transforming the student experience at Tafolla Middle School.
March 20 (Fri) – Whittier Middle School 4th Annual Multicultural Festival
4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Whittier Middle School, 2101 Edison Drive, 78201
The annual Whittier Middle School multicultural festival brings the community together for a night of free food, music, and cultural performances. The campus has been fundraising throughout the school year and working with partners like Walmart, H-E-B and Trader Joe’s to make this year’s festival even better for the Whittier familia.
March 21 (Sat) – SAISD Teacher Career Fair for High-Impact Schools

San Antonio ISD is hosting a Teacher Career Fair for High-Impact Schools. The district is hiring for the 2026-2027 school year, and opportunities include bilingual, special education, EC-6, and secondary education positions. There will be in-person interviews and on-site hiring. SAISD offers teacher salaries starting at $60,000 with opportunities to earn up to $26,000 extra with the Teacher Incentive Allotment, plus more.
