SAISD celebrates the start of major Bond 2020 upgrades at Burbank High School
WHAT: San Antonio ISD will host a groundbreaking ceremony at Burbank High School to celebrate the beginning of its Bond 2020-funded upgrades to the campus. These improvements are part of the district’s broader efforts to modernize facilities and enrich the student learning environment.

This ceremony marks the start of Bond 2020 commitments to Burbank High School, part of a larger districtwide effort to modernize and improve SAISD facilities. These investments create enriched academic and extracurricular environments that promote student growth and community pride.
Major highlights of the scope of work include:
New gymnasium complete with a mat/weight room, laundry room, and offices for the coaches;
Improvements to the athletic fields, track, and tennis spaces; and
New interior and exterior security cameras.
