Unilever, Hellmann’s, H-E-B and SAISD Foundation celebrate football and college access with annual “Halftime Kick for College” scholarship contest
Oct. 26, 2026 – In celebration of SAISD’s high-stakes football rivalry week, Unilever and Hellmann’s, in partnership with H-E-B and the SAISD Foundation, will host the annual Halftime Kick for College Scholarship Contest. During upcoming rivalry games, select high school seniors will take to the field at halftime for a chance to kick a field goal and win a $5,000 scholarship toward the college of their choice.
Hellmann’s is sponsoring the first $5,000 scholarship winner, and H-E-B will award each of the seven student participants a $100 H-E-B gift card and gift basket. H-E-B store partners will also be on the field at every game cheering on student kickers. Additionally, Hellmann’s will hand out free swag to game attendees on a first-come, first-served basis during the final three games of the series.
