Greetings, Hot Wells Middle School Families! It's that time of the month when SAISD and the San Antonio Food Bank team up for a food distribution. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 9 am, at 1000 Edwards St., 78210. Dear Hot Wells Families,
Tomorrow marks the first day of the 2nd nine weeks, and we are excited to continue building on the strong start we’ve made this school year. This week, students will take their District Reading and Math Assessments, so please ensure your child arrives on time and ready to do their best each day.
On Tuesday evening, we will hold a Basketball Parent Meeting at 5:30 PM in the gym. We invite all basketball parents to attend to learn about expectations for the upcoming season.
Looking ahead, we will host Report Card Pick-Up Night on Tuesday, October 21st, from 5:00–6:00 PM. Families are encouraged to join us, visit our Book Fair, and learn more about our school communication tools that help keep you informed throughout the year.
Please remember that students must be passing all classes in order to participate in UIL activities, including Soccer and Basketball. Report card grades determine eligibility for participation.

Estimadas familias de Hot Wells,
Mañana marca el primer día del segundo periodo de nueve semanas, y estamos emocionados de continuar construyendo sobre el gran comienzo que hemos tenido este año escolar. Esta semana, los estudiantes presentarán sus evaluaciones distritales de Lectura y Matemáticas, por lo que pedimos que su hijo(a) llegue a tiempo y preparado para dar lo mejor de sí cada día.
El martes por la tarde tendremos una reunión para padres de baloncesto a las 5:30 PM en el gimnasio. Invitamos a todos los padres de los jugadores a asistir para conocer las expectativas de la próxima temporada.
Próximamente, tendremos nuestra Noche de Entrega de Boletas de Calificaciones el martes 21 de octubre, de 5:00 a 6:00 PM. Las familias están invitadas a acompañarnos, visitar nuestra Feria del Libro y aprender más sobre nuestras herramientas de comunicación escolar que los mantienen informados durante todo el año.
Les recordamos que los estudiantes deben estar aprobando todas sus clases para poder participar en las actividades de UIL, incluyendo Fútbol y Baloncesto. Las calificaciones de la boleta determinan la elegibilidad para participar.
