We kicked off Read Across America week with a day full of reading with volunteers from across the city, organized by Communities in Schools, and our very own, Ms. Sollloa. Included in the volunteers was Telemundo, who did a feature of our students explaining how important reading is. What a fabulous way to celebrate reading and literacy for all!
Congratulations to our Rising Star, Mr. Thomas. Some call him Coach Thomas and others Mr. Thomas - either way, his passion, dedication, and commitment are clear on the court, on the field, and in the classroom. 💫
