Remember that all STAAR testing dates will be closed campus days, and no visitors will be allowed except in special circumstances or emergencies. Our April First Thursday meeting will be held virtually, and more information will be shared by email.

Dear Steele Montessori Academy Families,
Please mark your calendars for the upcoming State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) testing dates for April 2026:
STAAR Reading: April 7 for 3rd–8th grade
STAAR Science: April 14 for 5th and 8th grade
STAAR Social Studies: April 16 for 8th grade
STAAR Math: April 21 for 3rd–8th grade
To help your child be successful on testing days, please make sure they arrive by 7:45 a.m., are well-rested, and eat a nutritious breakfast before coming to school.
Please note that all testing days will be closed campus days. We ask that families do not schedule appointments or plan visits to the school on those dates.
Also, electronic devices are not allowed in the testing room. Please make sure your child does not bring a cell phone, smartwatch, smart glasses, or any other electronic or smart device into the testing environment. If a device is brought to school, it will need to be turned in before testing begins.
