The new Burbank library opened as part of the new high school in the fall of 2022. The collection consists of over 10,000 books as well as games and magazines. The library book collection is sorted by genres. There are 17 fiction genres. Nonfiction is much like a bookstore for easier browsing. Students may check out up to 3 books at a time. The maker space area has a variety of resources including two cricut machines, two sewing machines, a t-shirt press, and a variety of art supplies. Rooms available to be reserved include two conference rooms and a research room. There is a classroom space within the library for visiting classes and instruction. The second floor teacher workroom is next to the library as well. The library has 10 desktop computers for student and staff use. As a one-to-one campus, all students are issued chromebooks, but there are some available for daily checkout as needed.

Jennifer De Waelsche is starting her 13th as a librarian and has been at Burbank since 2016. She is passionate about research, creative projects, and technology integration. She loves to read though ironically does not find enough time to do so. Her favorite book is The Five People You Meet in Heaven but she is also a huge fan of the Harry Potter series and the Sue Grafton Kinsey Millhone series.
She is an avid Scrabble player who has played in multiple tournaments and was the 4th division champion at Scrabble Nationals this past summer. Jennifer plays clarinet in the San Antonio Symphonic Band and calls herself a perpetual band geek. She has ridden 199 rollercoasters and hopes to ride her 200th soon.
Mrs. De Waelsche is the sponsor of the Harry Potter club and head coach of the Academic Decathlon team.
She was Brubank's teacher of the year in 2019 and was selected as a Texas Library Association Tall Texan in 2016.
