Marco I. Morales
Marco I. Morales is in his 16th year of education. He began with Houston ISD in 2006 at Tinsley Elementary as a teacher, experiencing 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade assignments. From there, he transferred to Brookline Elementary in 2011 and demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities. He has also worked for Teach For America in their summer institutes at Rice University. He currently holds his teaching certification in Early Childhood education through Grade 8, with Bilingual endorsement and Principal certification.
Mr. Morales graduated from Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and from Lamar University with a Master’s of Education in Administration. He also completed the Rice University Business Fellowship in 2014. Mr. Morales served as Principal of Brookline Elementary in Houston ISD beginning in 2013. With his wife and 3 daughters, he moved to San Antonio to be closer to family and now leads JT Brackenridge Elementary here in San Antonio ISD. During his current tenure at JT Brackenridge, he was selected as a Cahn Fellow for Distinguished Principals and completed the program while navigating through the pandemic. His future plans include pursuing his doctorate in education.
