Great Clips Offers Free Hair Cuts to Margil Students.
Thank you to parent Jeanette Puga, her Manager at Great Clips and the other Great Clips stylists who volunteered their time to provide free hair cuts to our students.

Sandra Galinzoga appointed Principal at Margil
Ms. Galinzoga was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, and graduated from Nixon HS. Upon receiving her BS in Math from UTSA she began her career in Harlandale ISD teaching at Terrell Middle School. After leaving Harlandale ISD she has held various positions in SAISD and Floresville ISD. While working for SAISD she taught Math at Lanier HS, was a Campus Instructional Coach and Academic Dean for Whittier Middle School, Assistant Principal at Tafolla MS, and Principal of Wheatley MS. While working for Floresville ISD she served as District K-12 Math Coordinator as well as Principal of Floresville HS. Ms. Galinzoga will lead Margil Academy as principal with the motto “We are here to help kids.”
