Wilson 5th graders headed to Austin for Red Ribbon Week Rally
Welcome Woodrow Wilson Bears! My name is Dr. Jennifer Zavala and I am honored to serve as principal of Woodrow Wilson Elementary. I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, a Master of Arts degree in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy. Go Roadrunners! My mission and passion as a principal is to work alongside parents and teachers to create a safe environment where we foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning in all students. I will always do what is best for our students because I truly believe they deserve the best education we have to offer.
At Wilson Elementary we value our community and appreciate the trust you place on us with your child’s education. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing students with meaningful and culturally relevant learning experiences that ignite a passion for learning. Along with high quality instruction, it is our goal to make our students feel loved because at Wilson, we are a family. Thank you for choosing Wilson.
I look forward to meeting you and discussing how Wilson can make your child’s learning experience amazing.
