Hi and Hello, my name is Maricela A Mendoza! I am so excited that your child is in our classroom! This year will be exciting and filled with all new adventures in reading and math.
On a personal note, I was born and raised here in San Antonio. I have been married for 15 years and have 4 children, 3 sons and 1 daughter. My children attend a dual language academy in SAISD. We live in the country and love the peacefulness of living in a rural area. We constantly see cows, horses, and even donkeys on the road. I love to spend time with my family and friends. We like to spend our leisure time near any body of water, whether it be a lake, river or ocean. I enjoy playing games with my kids and cooking.
This is my seventeenth year in education and in SAISD. I graduated with an Associates degree in interdisciplinary studies from Palo Alto College and a Bachelor's degree in bilingual education from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I hope to begin my Master's degree soon.
