Mi nombre es Mayela Ravelo y nací en la ciudad de Monterrey, Nuevo Leon y crecí en la Cd. de México. Estudié la carrera de Leyes en México y posteriormente estudié mi maestría en St. Mary's University aquí en San Antonio, TX. Obtuve la certificación como maestra bilingüe hace 15 anos y desde entonces estoy en el salon de clases. Mi objetivo como maestra es poder contribuir a la formación educativa de mis estudiantes, fortalecer su deseo por el aprendizaje y su seguridad para conversar y formular preguntas usando su razonamiento crítico .
My name is Mayela Ravelo, I was born in the City of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and I grew up in Mexico City. I got a Law Degree in Mexico and later got a Master's degree at St. Mary's University here in San Antonio, TX. I was certified as a bilingual teacher 15 years ago and have been in the classroom ever since. My goal as a a teacher is to be able to contribute to the educational foundation of my students, strengthen their desire for learning and their confidence to converse and ask questions using their critical reasoning.
