Ms. Acosta is brand new to Burbank, but not to teaching. She comes from Northeast ISD, where she taught middle school English at Krueger and Jackson Middle Schools for 4 years. And she just arrived from L.E.E High School after teaching English 1 and English 1 Honors for 3 years. She's originally from Carrizo Springs, Texas and graduated from UTSA with a bachelor's degree in English. Her hobbies include playing with and caring for her many pets, as well as traveling when she's not teaching.
