My name is Benjamin Femmel. This will be my 27th year in education, but only my third as a Burbank Bulldog! I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to be a part of one of the most historically important high schools in San Antonio.

I was born in Indiana and moved to San Antonio right before 7th grade and have been here ever since. I graduated from UTSA back in 1997 and have been teaching since then. Teaching has played an important role in my family: my grandmother was a Teacher’s Assistant, both of my parents were teachers and my wife is a teacher! We have a brilliant daughter who will be a Freshman in college this year pursuing a degree and eventually a job in the nuclear fusion industry.
