WELCOME TO Kindergarten!
My name is Carolina Farias and I am starting my 20th year in education. My love of teaching started 20 years ago teaching Kindergarten here at Smith Elementary. My heart has always been with the little ones as I only have taught Kindergarten and 1st Grade.
I graduated from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State) in 2001 with a degree in Graphic Design. I followed my dream of being a teacher and went thru Region XX to obtain my teaching certification EC-4 Generalist. As I mentioned I did start teaching here at Smith, was transferred to another campus and came back "home" to Smith.
I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten. I know this year we will make this year the BEST year ever. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
