Dear Smith Elementary School Parents and Community,
It is my pleasure to welcome you back to the 2017-2018 school year. I would like to personally thank you for sending your child to Smith Elementary School. We are excited to begin the school year serving students and the community.
Smith teachers build positive relationships to promote academic and social learning. Our teachers will be planning and implementing engaging lessons using research-based practices and data to support your child’s individual growth and achievement.
It is our goal to ensure that all students feel connected to our campus family. We are piloting a new social, emotional learning program to provide students a nurturing classroom and opportunity to enhance their problem-solving skills. Our goal is for children to become better leaders through compassion and citizenship.
At San Antonio Independent School District we believe that all students will graduate and be prepared for the demands of the 21st Century workforce by attending college or obtaining a meaningful career for their postsecondary education.
I am honored to serve as principal and look forward to working with you to build the best learning experience for your child. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact me at 210-226-3360 or at firstname.lastname@example.org .
