Dear Smith Elementary School Parents and Community,
It is my pleasure to welcome you back to the 2018-2019 school year. I would like to personally thank you for sending your child to Smith Elementary School. We are excited to begin the school year serving students and the community.
Smith teachers build positive relationships to promote academic and social learning. Our teachers are working to enhance your student’s experience by continuing with the implementation of a social, emotional learning program and positive behavior systems that will provide a nurturing classroom and opportunity to enhance their problem-solving skills. Our goal is for children to become better leaders through compassion and citizenship. We will also continue with the Master Teacher initiative.
Additionally, Smith is now a Dual Language campus. I invite and encourage you to enroll your child for this unique learning experience.
At San Antonio Independent School District we believe that all students will graduate and be prepared for the demands of the 21st Century workforce by attending college and obtaining a meaningful career for their postsecondary education.
I am honored to serve as principal and look forward to working with you to build the best learning experience for your child. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact me at 210-228-3360 or at email@example.com .
